Taking a materials-first approach, our impact is assessed at every stage of our product's life cycle. We are on a journey of progression to perfection.
Our approach to how we make products and strive to inspire positive change for our Planet through sport.
We use natural materials as much as possible in our shoes and each pair we make prevents 300g of plastic from being created. We use Corn Fibre in our uppers, Organic Cotton in our laces, Algae in our insoles, Corn Starch in our midsoles, Natural Rubber in our outsoles and Water-Based Glue to put all the components together. See below for the full materials list:
Our shoes are recyclable. When you’re finished with them, send them back to us and we’ll give you £10 credit as a thank you
Using natural materials, a localised supply chain and no additional packaging from factory to customer reduces our carbon footprint to 7.83 kg CO2e. We offset this to zero and beyond by funding a project installing biogas digesters in Sichuan that decompose organic waste, turning it naturally into clean fuel that replaces the need to burn coal or wood.
Our production partner is SEMS in Putian. We conduct regular third-party audits on worker conditions and pay. Six of the nine materials we use are sourced within a 100km radius of the factory, with all nine materials arriving at the factory by road.
Every product we make has a number, which is recorded. This allows us to hold ourselves accountable to what we have produced, our total impact and forms the foundation for our progression to perfection mindset.
We believe in the power of collaboration, of teamwork – and the power of the 1%. That’s why we’ve signed up to partner with Common Goal and donate at least 1% of our net revenue to become part of their team – a movement for change. We’re working to pioneer their work on planetary impact –using sport to inspire positive change for Planet.
