Armed with this knowledge and the valuable input from some of tomorrow’s leading athletes, we’ve been able to build a shoe that’s every bit as powerful as it is sustainable.

Our obsession with sustainability goes all the way to the top of our supply chain. Right from the beginning, it was important for us to do all we can to keep our air and road miles as low as possible. To do that, we consolidated our supply chain so that all but 2 materials come from a 100km radius of the factory. Best of all, they all come by road with absolutely nothing coming by air.

What good’s a sustainable shoe shipped in unsustainable packaging? We put a lot of thought into ours. We make our boxes with 100% FSC-recycled cardboard and completely plant-based ink. They were designed to use 40% fewer materials than other shoe brands and don’t even need any extra packaging to get from our factory to your door.

It's not enough to just be sustainable. We knew Hylo had to perform as well – if not better – than the alternatives. By using fewer materials, we were able to create a super lightweight running shoe that at just 215g, will have you running faster and further than ever before.

Circular
sustainability

Our shoes were built around the idea of circularity – that what we take from our planet, should be paid back. We do this by using waste products from corn production, re-using materials in future generations of shoes, and offsetting our carbon footprint to be carbon neutral.
