Our Shop is Closed for Black Friday. Our Shop is Closed for Black Friday. Our Shop is Closed for Black Friday.
We won't be selling our shoes this Black Friday as we take a stand against the impact of fast fashion and over consumption on our Planet. For a lot of people, Black Friday is an opportunity to afford something they wouldn't be able to otherwise. That isn't a bad thing.
However, we simply want to spread awareness of the fact that every time we purchase there is an environmental impact. As a business, we rely on people purchasing our products but we support people being thoughtful in their consumption and choices.
Just because it's cheaper for a day doesn't mean we need it, and it often means that those items are discarded quicker.
Here's
Why
Black Friday & Cyber Monday are getting bigger and bigger every year. Leading distributors saw a 46% spike in consumption on this day back in 2018. That means more waste and a negative impact on our Planet.
We’re encouraging you to shop slow, and run fast (run fast is because we make running shoes):
